A Jones House

A career of firsts.
A practice built for what’s next.

More than three decades connecting entertainment with the people who will care about it.

Founder of A Jones House.
Founder + senior leadership

Personal leadership.
A team built for the work.

Founded and led by Amorette Jones, A Jones House brings more than three decades of experience across studio film, independent releases, premium television, digital innovation and international audiences.

As executive vice president of worldwide marketing at Artisan, she helped shape the market for independent film, with work spanning The Blair Witch Project, Buena Vista Social Club, Requiem for a Dream and Step Into Liquid. She went on to executive vice president, worldwide marketing at Starz Media. Earlier studio experience includes Sony, Universal and MGM.

Her work has also brought entertainment and consumer brands together—including Microsoft and BMW in the digital cinema series launched with Standing in the Shadows of Motown. At Treeti, she carried direct audience relationships and discovery into a new distribution idea. The through-line is finding a useful connection between a story, the people who will care and the route to watching.

Today, that experience informs the North American campaign for Hello, Love, Again, streaming strategy for iWant and current documentary and independent-film campaigns through AJMC and A Jones House.

A Jones House connects strategy to execution through direct senior leadership. That thinking starts upstream, from developing projects and defining audience opportunity to building and leading the campaign.

Built for efficiency and ready to scale, AJH brings together specialists in creative, publicity, social, media, distribution and partnerships to match the project’s needs. A focused assignment can call for a small group; an integrated release can bring in a broader team. The strategy and budget determine the team, which scales up or down as the work develops. Senior leadership provides the direction, aligns the specialists and keeps resources focused on the audience and the next meaningful action.

The foundational idea

Participation has always
been the point.

Blair helped define viral movie marketing before the social media era. A tiny independent film became a global cultural phenomenon, with audiences carrying the story from person to person. The same principle drives AJH today: build a direct connection, invite participation and turn the response into the next audience opportunity.
